commercial unit definition - business
commercial unit
A unit of goods, either a single unit or a quantity, offered for typical commercial usage. Division of a commercial unit is likely to result in an impairment of the value of the contents. For example, a barrel is the commercial unit for petroleum, and a bolt is a commercial unit of finished cloth.
