A traditional business with a physical presence that also utilizes the Internet. For example, clothing retailer Clearwater Creek operates numerous stores but also conducts a major portion of its business via the Internet. “Clicks and mortar" is a play on the term bricks and mortar, which refers to an old-economy company with only a physical presence.
