An arrangement offered by some employers that permits employees to choose their own benefit package from a variety of options that may include disability insurance, medical insurance, dependent care insurance, term life insurance, adoption assistance, vacation pay, and cash. Flexible benefits offered in a cafeteria plan allow employees to get the most for their money.
