Bargain basement describes something that is really inexpensive or is offered at an especially good price. (adjective)

  1. An example of bargain basement prices is paying $5 for a designer purse that you get at a garage sale.
  2. An example of bargain basement is saying that someone's dress looks like she got it at bargain basement prices because you think it looks inexpensive and not very nice.
