Bargain basement describes something that is really inexpensive or is offered at an especially good price. (adjective)
- An example of bargain basement prices is paying $5 for a designer purse that you get at a garage sale.
- An example of bargain basement is saying that someone's dress looks like she got it at bargain basement prices because you think it looks inexpensive and not very nice.
