Android market share - Computer Definition
As of the fourth quarter 2013, according to IDC, 78% of smartphone sales worldwide were Android phones. The reason is that myriad entry-level Android phone models have been available around the world, especially popular in less affluent countries. In addition, for their first seven years, iPhones had relatively small and narrow screens, while Android models were offered with much larger displays. The iPhone 6 models were the first Apple phones to match those screen sizes. See Android, iPhone and phablet.
