George Wilson has a long history of entrepreneurship in the high tech arena. He is one of a small group of technologists who understood, early on, the crucial importance of large-scale data storage, protection, and management. He has been a founder or executive at several companies.
Wilson holds a B.S. Degree in Business Management from the University of Dayton, Ohio.
Paul JJ Payack, President
Paul J.J. Payack brings to YDC significant experience and expertise in the high tech arena. Most
recently Payack was vice president of Marketing for Alacritus Software. Previous to Alacritus, Payack was vice president of worldwide marketing at Legato Software and senior vice president,
strategic marketing for Intelliguard Software, where he helped pioneer the revolutionary Celestra architecture for "serverless" backup and data movement applications. Payack has also served
as a senior marketing and communications executive for some of the industry's technology leaders, including the Network Systems Corporation (acquired by StorageTek), the A.C. Nielsen unit
of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, Unisys, and Apollo Computer, Inc. Payack began his career in Massachusett's 'Route 128' Technology Corridor with stints at Wang Laboratories, and
the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
Payack was a 'contributor' to the National Research Council's national encryption policy, and was part of the team that won the first-ever 'Best of Show' Award at Networld+Interop for an Internet Product or Service in 1995.
Payack has lectured widely on high tech Marketing and Communications at industry forums, universities, and corporations around the world including Babson College, BusinessWeek's Digital Economy forum, CIO Magazine's Perspective Conference, the Federal Reserve Bank (New York), Harvard, the Hughes Aircraft unit of General Motors, The University of Massachusetts, and the University of Texas.
A graduate of Harvard University, Payack currently resides with his wife and family in Danville, California.
