To prevent this happening we will be blocking SMTP port 25 outgoing on the external Firewall from 7 March 2006.
We will be blocking outgoing SMTP traffic to other than our own and EUCS mail servers.
However, the Real IP range of services can be used in conjunction with an SMTP mail feed.
We may also enable SMTP AUTH, which would allow use of our mail server for sending mail via SMTP from outside DMU.
